Stream-Flo Industries · Edmonton, Alberta
There’s no such thing as a standard pipeline.
Check valves engineered to order in Edmonton for Canada’s transmission systems, from a vendor already approved on the lines you operate.
Engineered to order. Proven on the line.

Every size. One standard.
Every line writes its own spec. We build to it.
Diameter, pressure class, service, temperature: your line dictates the valve, and we engineer to what it dictates.
We validate every design with finite element analysis and computational fluid dynamics before manufacture, then CNC-machine the parts and inspect them on a coordinate measuring machine.
The sizing conversation happens with our sales team, against your spec. Not against a catalogue page.
Nozzle and swing checks, gas service and liquid.
We build both families. Which one your line takes depends on the service.
Non-slam nozzle checks for gas: compressor suction, discharge, bypass and meter stations, where the disc seats before reverse flow develops instead of slamming behind it. Swing checks for liquid lines and pump service, with a hydraulic damper on the large-bore units.
Our swing checks are piggable. A nozzle check isn’t.
Sizing runs against your spec, not a catalogue page. That is what our valve sales team is for.
Approved where Canada’s oil and gas already flows.
Stream-Flo has been an incumbent approved vendor on Canada’s major transmission systems for decades.
Everything your vendor qualification asks for.
The full certification spec sits on the check valve product pages, one click away, with no form in front of any of it.

Canadian-owned and Edmonton-built since 1962.
Privately owned, still at the same Edmonton address, and still machining these valves here.
A quarterly portfolio review won’t discontinue the engineered variant you spec, and the engineers who design it stay through the life of the line.
Bring us the line you’re building.
One conversation with our valve sales team puts your spec in front of the people who will engineer to it.
