2023 Doing Business Better award for Alaska region given to Stream-Flo USA
ConocoPhillips has released the winners of their 2023 Supplier Recognition Award program and Stream-Flo USA is honored to have made the list.
Split into two different distinctions — focus on execution and doing business better — awarded suppliers were recognized for exhibiting exceptional leadership in alignment with ConocoPhillips’ SPIRIT Values.
“We rely on our suppliers to help us deliver continued value for ConocoPhillips and our stakeholders in a reliable, efficient and sustainable manner,” said ConocoPhillips Chief Procurement Officer Colin Stevenson in a release naming the winners. “These award recipients have gone above and beyond to demonstrate exceptional leadership and innovation, and we embrace the opportunity to recognize them.”
For their above and beyond efforts in Alaska, Stream-Flo USA received the 2023 Doing Business Better award for the region.
“It’s humbling and makes me proud of our entire team as it has taken support from across the company, both US and Canada, to execute and deliver,” said Stream-Flo USA Alaska Operations Manager Austin McPherson upon hearing the news. “Being a part of this from the beginning and all the extra work that has gone into this over the years has paid off! This has been one of — if not the most — rewarding opportunities I have had in my career thus far.”

After focusing their attention on Alaska in 2020, Stream-Flo Vice President and General Manager of US and Latin America Sean Wilcock said finding a partner in ConocoPhillips that shares the same values and guiding principles as Stream-Flo, was critical in our ability to permanently establish our Alaskan presence.
“Four years ago, the Stream-Flo US team embarked on a strategic mission to expand our presence and market share in Alaska, targeting Tier 1 clients,” said Wilcock. “The successful development of the DMLX wellhead system and our exceptional service quality and operational excellence demonstrated in collaboration with Shell and ConocoPhillips in the Permian Basin, played a pivotal role in solidifying our reputation. As word of our capabilities spread, ConocoPhillips Alaska recognized our potential and awarded us our first trial project.
The meticulous planning and flawless execution of the trial project led to the award of our first contract with ConocoPhillips Alaska and marked the establishment of our first Stream-Flo facility in Anchorage. Our partnership with ConocoPhillips is built on mutual respect and trust, and this Supplier Recognition Award serves as a testament to the strength of that partnership.
I am thrilled to be part of such a dynamic and accomplished team, comprised of intelligent and sophisticated individuals who consistently deliver exceptional results. A special acknowledgment goes to Austin for his exemplary leadership across all fronts, contributing significantly to our success. This recognition marks an exciting milestone for us, and I look forward to continuing our journey of growth and success together.”
ConocoPhillips will be presenting McPherson with a physical award in the weeks to come.
Our congratulations to everyone who contributed to this major accomplishment, and sincere thanks to ConocoPhillips for their esteemed recognition.
We look forward to doing business better for a long time to come and further strengthening the strong partnership that has been built.
