Alberta Cancer Foundation and Cure Cancer Foundation experience ‘fantastic’ facility tour during visit to Stream-Flo Group Centre of Excellence campus
If there’s one thing we’re proud to show off, it’s our campus.
The sprawling Stream-Flo Group Centre of Excellence in Edmonton, which includes the Master Flo and Dycor facilities, was fortunate to welcome some very special guests late last week.
Following our successful Targeting an End to Cancer fundraiser for MR-Sim technology, dignitaries from the two groups we worked closely with to achieve the fantastic fundraising result paid us a visit.
The Stream-Flo Group red carpet was laid out as President and CEO Mark McNeill and Vice President of HSE, Technical Training & Property Management Grant Pilgrim greeted the group and guided them throughout our facilities, with Stream-Flo Wellhead Systems Production Manager Garry Askin deserving special thanks for his help assisting with such a wonderful tour.
Those visiting were:
Barrie Stafford | Cure Cancer Foundation Board (CCF) |
Christy Holtby | Alberta Cancer Foundation |
Darren Baumgardner | Cure Cancer Foundation & Alberta Cancer Foundation Trustee |
David Dyer | Cross Cancer Institute |
Guy Mersereau | Cure Cancer Foundation |
Lindsay Gilbert | Alberta Cancer Foundation |
Michelle Rose | Glenn Anderson Day of Golf |
Peter Wilkes | Cure Cancer Foundation |
Reid Johnson | Glenn Anderson Day of Golf |
Sara Solowan | Alberta Cancer Foundation |
Mark McNeill and Grant Pilgrim pose for a photo with the dignitaries from the Alberta Cancer Foundation, Cure Cancer Foundation, and Cross Cancer Institute outside the main Stream-Flo building in Edmonton on Oct. 3, 2024.
In addition to our fundraising partners, David Dyer, the executive director of the Cross Cancer Institute where our MR-Sim will be installed and utilized, was in attendance.
“It was a fantastic tour and visit from these people who have helped us so much with our fundraiser,” said McNeill. “Our Edmonton community benefits immensely from the hard work they all do, and we are one huge step closer to ending cancer thanks to their tireless efforts.”
On behalf of all of us at the Stream-Flo Group of Companies, we extend our sincerest thanks to the Cure Cancer Foundation, Alberta Cancer Foundation, and Cross Cancer Institute for the critical and lifesaving work they are engaged in. Work which will one day change the course of history for anyone diagnosed with cancer.
