Stream-Flo USA throws financial support behind great cause
We’ve told you how good Hali Tackett is at pool.
Now, let us tell you how the Stream-Flo USA Inventory Supervisor at our Kilgore branch is using her considerable pool powers, for even greater good.
A couple weeks ago, Tackett and 49 other pool players got together at their local haunt, 903 Billiards in Longview, TX, and raised over $1,100 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation.
“A lot of the benefits around East Texas are driven by this organization,” said Tackett. “They provide advocacy, resources, and patient navigation for people that have breast cancer.”
The tournament, created by Tackett’s local bar owner in support of breast cancer awareness month, was a women-only event, with lots of emotions attached to it.
“It was geared toward women playing together and fighting together,” explained Tackett. “A lot of the women had team shirts made, some of the women even put the names of loved ones they have lost on the back.”

For Tackett, it’s a cause that’s especially close to her heart.
“It’s what my grandmother died of,” she shared. “A friend of mine’s mom is fighting breast cancer right now.”
With many local businesses supporting the event either through donating items for the raffle that took place, or direct financial contributions such as Stream-Flo USA made in being the title sponsor, Tackett says the tournament turned out to be a big success, with lots of fun along the way.
“Everybody that was involved had a great time,” she said. “It was definitely a good opportunity for everybody to get together just to raise money for something that is very special to a lot of people.”
Unsurprisingly, at least for those who read our first story on Tackett, she and her partner, Makenna Goodeman, came away with first place at the tournament.

Then Tackett and her husband, Stream-Flo Service Technician Chris Voight, ended up winning the 50/50, which they donated back.
After the tournament was over, 903 Billiards posted that Bank of America had tripled the money the tournament raised, bringing the grand total to more than $3,300.
Our resident pool shark, meanwhile, is already on the hunt for additional ways to spread positive effects across East Texas.
“I’m going to try to do some more big things that represent Stream-Flo well,” finished Tackett.
Consider us excitedly looking forward to them, and at the ready to support them.
